Our retreats are so popular that they often fill up before we get a chance to advertise them. Therefore, we've added even more dates for the coming year. Let me tell you how our retreats work. You will join members of the Anna Lena's staff at the Long Beach Super 8 Motel for an opportunity to spend a weekend of uninterrupted sewing, quilting and camaraderie. From noon on Friday until 4:00 on Sunday, your every need will be taken care of--your only responsibility is to sew. The weekend includes 5 meals, lodging, special shopping spree to Anna Lena's, a 10% discount all weekend on fabric, books and notions and Anna Lena staff to help you with your sewing needs. $159.00 double, $209.00 single. Do you enjoy a mystery? How about a mystery quilt? Join in the fun as you follow the clues to make the Railroad that Ran by the Tide mystery quilt. This quilt is named for the narrow gauge railroad that used to run up the Long Beach Peninsula. Learn interesting facts about the old train, and stitch your way to a completed quilt by journey's end.
