IT'S HERE!!! My latest book, Quilts from My Garden has arrived! Click here...
anna lena karen snyder wash tub printsWelcome to Anna Lena's. For ten years now, we've been bringing people the basic necessities of life--fudge and fabric!

Our brick-and-mortar store is located on the main street in Long Beach, Washington, a charming little coastal town. Our town is known for its white sand beach, boardwalk through the dunes, charming shops, top rated restaurants and, of course, a fabulous quilt shop!

We have a wide variety of things to entice the quilter, but I'm especially pleased to be able to offer you our own line of History Stitchery Patterns, Wash Tub Print fabric that I've designed for Andover Fabrics, my quilting books, and free patterns. I also encourage you to sign up for our newsletter, where we offer great weekly specials.

History Stitchery Patterns include Redwork and traditional 1930's designs, like butterflies and airplanes.

Wash Tub Prints are my take on 1930's reproduction fabrics. You'll find the colors a bit bolder than some other Thirties reproductions, and each line features a panel as well as a variety of florals, small geometrics and, always, dots! We have a free pattern for each line of fabrics.

I have also authored three books. The most recent is Quilts from my Garden. This book is full of quilts, projects and yummy recipes. And, it was photographed right here on the Long Beach Peninsula. The first two books are Bundles of Fun and Fat Quarter Fun. They're all about using fat quarters--just in case you have any of those in your stash!

So, please, take a look around, bookmark us, and join our email newsletter. Click on the links below for some special programs we're involved with, don't miss our specials link and sign up for our email newsletter. Thanks for visiting.

Bundles of FunMy first book, Bundles of Fun, is now in its second printing. I was inspired to write this book to help people use their fat quarters. Each quilt in the book uses just 12 fat quarters. Some have additional background or accent fabric and borders. If you can't resist those wonderful bundles of fat quarters, keep buying them, then turn them into one of the quilts from my book, and you'll be having Bundles of Fun, too!

Bundles of FunFor everyone who has made all the quilts from Bundles of Fun (now in its second printing), you now have 12 new projects in my second book, “Fat Quarter Fun”!! Fun Shui, Summer Fun, Fi Fie Foe Fun, Barrels of Fun . . . all made with fat quarters. As with her first book, this one has 12 quilts with easy-to-follow patterns, beautiful illustrations and plenty of information on fabric selection as well as quilting tips. The books are available in the store now. Come in, pick up the book and let us help you pick out the perfect fat quarters.

My latest book, Quilts from My Garden has arrived! This is my third book, and I am so proud of it. Not only does this book contain quilt patterns, it has projects and recipes. But the thing I'm most proud of is the photography. The first two books were photographed in the studio, but this book was photographed in beautiful gardens right here on the Long Beach Peninsula. Many neighbors and friends opened their beautiful gardens to me and photographer Sarah Hillman created stunning photos. http://www.annalena.com/product_info.

Bundles of Fun

Check out my spin on 1930's reproductions.
I love the clear pastels associated with fabrics from this era, but in studying my vintage quilts, I saw lots of red and orange and other bright colors, too. You'll find all those in Wash Tub Prints

fudgeFudge. Yes, fudge! We make our own fudge, right here in the shop. We are most famous for our cranberry fudge, with cranberries grown on our family farm. But, we also have many other flavors to chose from, like the traditional chocolate walnut, chewy praline, peanut butter and many, many more. Click here to learn more.
